AXIS and Stone Point launch $400m+ casualty collateralised reinsurer

Bermuda-based  AXIS Capital Holdings has launched a newly created collateralised reinsurer, Monarch Point Re, with an initial capital of over $400 million, in partnership with investor Stone Point. It will be led by the former CEO of Montpelier Re and chairman of Blue Capital Re.
