Axis Capital lifts a rising cyber star to third promotion in four years

Axis Capital has lifted a cyber underwriter up the ranks to the head of its cyber and technology desk in London after a year in the deputy slot.

Andrew Maher (Pictured) becomes head of cyber and technology after a year as deputy to the position, his third promotion in a fur-year rise up the ladder in Axis cyber.

Maher has been with Axis since November 2018, rising through the ranks in cyber from senior underwriter through to the deputy chief position by late 2021.

He had previously been an underwriter with Markel and Beazley in a career dating back to 2010.
