Axon snags Allianz trio; launches new political violence unit

Lloyd's coverholder Axon Underwriting Services, a specialty lines programme administrator, has bolstered its crisis management division by hiring three new underwriters from Allianz, while expanding its products suite to include political violence risks insurance solutions.

Senior underwriters Miguel Criscuolo, Randy Esposito, and junior underwriter Sean Larkin will join the crisis management team as the company expands its underwriting footprint and specialty lines offering.

The appointees have underwriting experience in product recall and political violence, having previously held underwriting positions at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty.

Axon Crisis Management has launched its political violence & property terrorism unit for US domiciled clients. The portfolio will be underwritten in partnership with Hamilton Lloyd’s Syndicate 4000.

“We are excited to have such experienced underwriters join Axon Crisis Management at a stage of our growth where underwriting expertise and excellent service levels are essential,” said Marcos Garcia Norris, senior vice president of Axon Underwriting.
