Beecher Carlson makes key promotions after exodus to Alliant

Beecher Carlson Insurance Services, the specialised large account subsidiary of Brown & Brown, has made several leadership promotions in its energy practice.

Laura Rubin and Susan Garrard have been appointed as managing directors, and Mary Leighton as senior vice president.

Robert Bothwell, the former president of Beecher Carlson's energy practice, along with six other members of his team left the company in December last to join Alliant Insurance.

Erin Lynch, president of Beecher Carlson’s energy practice, said: “Laura, Susan, and Mary’s service and dedication to our clients is unparalleled. Their extensive energy industry knowledge coupled with their drive to find innovative risk solutions for our clients has truly positioned them as leaders in our industry. They are integral to the continued success of our practice, and I’m honored to be in business with them."

Steve Denton, CEO of Beecher Carlson, added: "Since being appointed president of the energy practice in December, Erin has continued to make key changes that position us for tremendous growth.
"With the new energy practice leadership team in place, I am confident that we will be able to service clients and strengthen industry partner relationships better than ever."
