Berkshire Hathaway Specialty pushes new talent into senior role in France

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has tapped a recently onboarded insider to head up its executive and professional lines in France.

Olivier Hamon (pictured) will take the role after less than two years in the BHSI group, to-date as the head of financial institutions and management liabilities.

In his new role, Olivier will oversee BHSI’s entire Executive & Professional Lines portfolio in France, which includes D&O Liability, Financial Institutions D&O Liability, Professional Indemnity, Employment Practices Liability, Crime, and Cyber Insurance.

Hamon joined BHSI in 2020 and has nearly 15 years of insurance and financial industry experience in France. Prior to BHSI, he spent eight years rising through the ranks in financial lines at another global insurer.
