Bowring Marsh appoints global CEO

Marsh, the global insurance broker and risk management firm has appointed Tom Davies as global chief executive officer of Bowring Marsh, Marsh’s international wholesale placement broker. Davies previously led Bowring Marsh’s hub in the UK and Ireland.  Based in London, Davies has global responsibility for Bowring Marsh, which has more than 300 colleagues across key placement hubs in the UK and Ireland, Continental Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, United States, and Bermuda. Davies has more than 25 years of insurance broking experience with Marsh. He has an extensive background in managing large, complex, and global property and casualty insurance programmes, both in the retail and wholesale markets.  “Under Tom’s leadership, Bowring Marsh’s operations in the UK and Ireland have delivered exceptional value for clients,” said Dean Klisura, global head of industry specialties and placement at Marsh. “With his skills and experience, Tom is ideally suited to lead Bowring Marsh globally and expand our services to clients across our key placement hubs.”
