CAC Specialty swoops for Marsh/JLT, Goldman Sachs talent in expansion move

Specialty insurance brokerage and investment banking business CAC Specialty has hired Marsh/JLT and Goldman Sachs executives to expand its service offerings in the property and casualty sector.

Robert (Bob) Trinkleback joins as the leader of property and casualty loss control, and Jonathan (Jon) Goodier as vice president - property and casualty claims advocate.

Trinkleback will help clients improve workplace safety while increasing productivity and reducing costs related to property, workers’ compensation and auto/general liability exposures. He has more than 38 years of corporate safety and risk management experience, most recently serving as Marsh/JLT’s risk control leader for its property
and casualty risk control services.

Goodier, an experienced claims advocate, will focus on helping clients navigate the claims process while also working directly with insurance carriers to strategically and effectively manage claims. Most recently, he served as vice president at Goldman Sachs, where he was the global head of claims and the leader of international property & casualty placement.

Both Trinkleback and Goodier will work alongside the loss control and claims teams at Cobbs Allen, a sister company of CAC Specialty. The partnership will allow for collaboration and innovation, benefitting clients of both firms.

“Bob and Jon are outstanding additions to our team, moving us toward our goal of expanding our risk management capabilities,” said Bruce Denson Jr., president of CAC Specialty and Cobbs Allen. “CAC continues to attract the best and brightest talent in the industry.”
