Canopius hires head of reinsurance Asia Pacific from Swiss Re

Specialty re/insurer Canopius has hired Swiss Re's Nattakorn Wattanaumphaipong as head of reinsurance Asia Pacific.

Wattanaumphaipong will join Canopius' Singapore office in January 2019, and report to Jamie Wakeling, chief underwriting officer reinsurance.

Wattanaumphaipong comes from Swiss Re where he has held multiple senior roles over a 13 year career including most recently head of property Asia, and previously head of property & casualty China.
