Charles Taylor InsureTech hires for new role to grow in LatAm

Charles Taylor InsureTech has appointed Gonzalo Geijo for the newly-created role of regional sales director Latin America, as the company looks to grow its presence in the global insurance technology market.

Charles Taylor is a UK service provider to the insurance industry.

Geijo will report to global sales director Tony Russell, who is based in the UK.

He joins the company from Sistran, where he led a business development team responsible for technology implementations for insurance clients in the region. He has over a decade of experience in the insurance and technology sector, and understanding of the LatAm insurance market.

The appointment follows the opening of the company’s Mexico center offering insurance technology consultancy in the LatAm region.

The company said that Geijo's appointment will "help InsureTech to capitalise on recent strategic investments including the expansion of its global delivery network and Charles Taylor’s acquisition of a stake in Fadata."

Jason Sahota, CEO of Charles Taylor InsureTech, commented: "Gonzalo is a significant hire for our business in the region. His extensive knowledge, expertise and network will be vital to us in continuing our growth plan and commitment in helping to bring value to the insurance industry across Latin America."

Charles Taylor Adjusting, the company's loss adjusting business, recently  hired Crawford Americas’ CEO Vince Cole to lead the operations of its US business.
