Insurance services firm Charles Taylor has launched an investigation division to counter fraud, manage risk and reduce exposures through an intelligence-led approach.
The new unit, called Charles Taylor Specialist Investigation Services (SIS), looks to develop innovative counter fraud identification and investigation tools using its experience in handling complex risks across all lines of business.
The SIS will offer investigations on a retained/delegated authority basis, as well as a ‘white label’ solution.
Bobby Gracey, global head of fraud at Charles Taylor, who will lead the new division, said: “As the impact of Covid-19 is felt across the world, the conditions are there for an increase in both organised and opportunistic fraud.
“Charles Taylor has unrivalled expertise in claims across multiple markets and a leading technology arm underpinning this, which is a great combination for a new specialist counter fraud service. We are bringing the best of IT & IQ together to enable our clients to outperform, defeat the fraudsters and reduce the fraud expenses that impact the balance sheet of every insurer.”
