CNA Hardy, a specialist commercial insurance provider, has appointed Jason Rollins as direct and facultative property senior underwriter.
Previously, Rollins served as operational underwriter at International Mining Industry Underwriters (IMIU), where he underwrote and managed the operational mining book.
Prior to that, he served as a senior onshore energy underwriter and head of mining and minerals at Project Opus, which was subsequently converted into Torus Insurance.
Patrick Gage, chief underwriting officer at CNA Hardy, said: “Jason joins the team at an incredibly exciting time in the development of our direct and facultative capability.
“His specialist skillset will assist in the development of our mining and heavy industry sectors and his technical knowledge and wealth of experience will be invaluable as we seek to develop our direct and facultative property account, and I am delighted he chose CNA Hardy.
“Jason’s appointment really demonstrates our intention to bring go-to market leaders to our underwriting teams, as we work towards our long-term strategy to build scale and relevance across our chosen sectors.”
