Compre brings 30-year claims veteran to manage ‘complex’ North American portfolio

Re/insurance legacy specialist  Compre has drawn a claims veteran from RiverStone with 30 years of experience in key leadership roles at R&Q, The Hartford and Nationwide for its North American business.

Bill Bouvier joins the group as claims director, North America. Based in Compre’s Connecticut office, he will report to David Presley, CEO of North America.

In his new role, Bouvier will be responsible for leading the North American claims team in managing Compre’s complex portfolio, including technical oversight of third-party administrators and vendors and managing customer experience.

Bouvier has more than 30 years of direct and reinsurance claims experience and joins from RiverStone where, for the past eight years, he was vice president and director of assumed reinsurance claims. Prior to that, he was vice president and director of reinsurance and direct claims at R&Q Re and he has also held senior roles at The Hartford and Nationwide Indemnity Company.

Presley said: “We are excited to welcome someone of Bill’s outstanding capabilities to Compre. We look forward to leveraging his deep legacy market experience and expertise as we continue to focus on exceptional claims handling, safeguarding our clients’ reputations and expanding our operations and portfolio in North America.”
