Compre taps former Markerstudy leader as group COO to fuel growth
Bermuda headquartered international legacy group Compre has hired a new group chief operating officer (COO), who has held various C-suite positions at Markerstudy and insurtech Incited, with a background at Aon/Sterling Insurance.
Daniel Fiehn (pictured) has assumed the role of group COO at Compre with immediate effect.
He joins with more than 30 years of experience in operational, technology and leadership roles in global financial services. Reporting to group chief executive officer Will Bridger, Fiehn will be responsible for IT /data, change and facilities, with a particular focus on driving the use of technology and data across the business. This will include automation and data analytics to support Compre’s continued growth following its $1.3 billion SiriusPoint loss portfolio transfer, which completed earlier this month.
Fiehn previously served as COO at insurtech Incited and was group COO at Markerstudy Insurance Group before that. He has held several C-suite positions during his career and previous employers also include Aon, HBOS, LTSB and Sterling Insurance.
