Concord Specialty Risk boosts R&W team

Managing general agent (MGA) Concord Specialty Risk has appointed Lidore DeRose as senior underwriting counsel of representation and warranties (R&W) insurance.

She will report directly to Kenneth De Berry, president of Concord Specialty Risk.

DeRose was previously an associate, corporate practice for Kirkland & Ellis’ mergers and acquisition (M&A) practice.

De Berry said: “Lidore offers ten years of sophisticated M&A experience at top law firms that have frequently directed their clients to use R&W insurance.

“Her experience with M&A and R&W insurance solutions is a great addition to Concord. It further bolsters the level of in-house professionalism and further assures Concord’s ability to timely meet the expectations of our insureds and brokers in this current environment of high volume demand for R&W insurance.”
