Conduit Re swoops on BMS Re to lead global casualty strategy

Bermuda-based pure-play reinsurer  Conduit Re has brought in a BMS Re’s casualty treaty head to lead the development of its global casualty underwriting strategy, which had previously been split by geography.

Binetti has 30 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. He joins Conduit from BMS Re, where he is currently head of casualty treaty and actuarial. Prior to joining BMS Re, he held senior underwriting roles at several leading reinsurance companies, including at JRG Re, QBE Reinsurance, XL Capital and most latterly as head of casualty and Actuarial at Everest Re, Bermuda.

In his new role, Binetti will lead the development and delivery of the company’s casualty strategy, ensuring innovative and effective reinsurance solutions to clients.
