CRC Group bolsters executive leadership in growth drive

US wholesale specialty insurance broker CRC Group has bolstered its leadership team with three new executive appointments.

Jessica Marshall (pictured right) has been appointed chief marketing officer. Marshall has served as CRC Group’s senior vice president and director of marketing since 2018. She will now oversee all aspects of communication, advertising, public relations, as well as sales and producer development programmes.

Mike Baeurle (pictured centre) has been appointed chief client officer. Baeurle previously served as the company’s executive vice president of agency distribution after joining CRC Group with the acquisition of Swett & Crawford in 2016. Baeurle will lead CRC Group’s retail agency distribution and business development strategy and manage client relationships across CRC Group’s three operating divisions.

Curtis Moore (pictured left) has been appointed chief administrative officer. Moore joined CRC Group in 2018 and has held a variety of key roles across the company. In his new position, Moore will be responsible for all administrative and operational functions in addition to the development and execution of corporate strategic performance initiatives, including business process improvements, technology advancements, and other key priorities.

All three executives will continue to report to Neil Kessler, president and chief operations officer of CRC Group and be part of CRC’s Group Support Services (GSS) team responsible for providing and enhancing support functions across CRC Group’s commercial solutions, specialty programmes, and life, retirement, and benefits businesses.

“Jessica, Curtis, and Mike have a strong track record of strategic, results-driven leadership and extensive operational experience. We are excited to draw on those strengths as we prepare for the future. Adding these three proven leaders to the CRC Group executive team is an opportunity to focus on operational excellence and growth by leveraging their expertise and deep understanding of our organisation and our industry,” said Kessler.
