Crop Pro Insurance hires data scientist as director

Crop Pro Insurance,  a new managing general agent (MGA) specialising in crop insurance, has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Brian Donaghy as its director of data science.

Donaghy has over 20 years of experience in venture capital and data technology creation, including leadership roles at Broadhorn Capital, Appcore, Smart Online, Growth Ventures Group and Computility.

Joe Young, president of Crop Pro Insurance, said: "Brian has a passion for bringing innovative financial and knowledge-based tools to market that will help expand the adoption of sustainable agriculture. By combining the best of technology, finance and insurance, Brian will assist Crop Pro Insurance in developing risk management solutions that will help growers embrace and adopt emerging technologies more easily as market demands evolve."
