DEKRA appoints Leonardis as director general in Mexico

DEKRA Loss Adjusters and Surveyors (DLAS), a global independent claims service business, has named Gian Luca De Leonardis as director general in Mexico.

Leonardis has experience in claims adjusting and managing in Latin and Central America, including over 30 years based in Mexico, handling local and reinsurance matters.

In addition to heading up the loss adjusting business, his role includes integration of the various DEKRA product lines to create a regional comprehensive service. He also focuses on the important regional markets and Miami, while coordinating with DEKRA’s London Office.

Alistair Jacob, managing director at DLAS, praised Leonardis’ ability to find solutions for all classes of business and his knowledge of the market in the region.
