Dual North America nabs transactional risk experts in triple hire
Dual North America has unveiled three key hires to support its plans for growth and expansion in the transactional risk insurance space.
Daniel Bond, Yash Jafari and Vanessa Pellettier each join Dual in the role of senior vice president. Bond and Jafari join the team as a key part of Dual’s strategic growth initiative to expand its offering to include contingent liability insurance and tax liability insurance. Pelletier joins Dual to provide claims advisory support to its insurer partners and insureds.
Dual’s transactional risk team specialises in underwriting insurance coverage for representations and warranties, tax liability and contingent liability across a wide range of industry sectors. Entering its third year of business, the team has completed over 1,100 transactions, supporting its clients on mergers and acquisitions and other transactions involving tax liability and litigation-related risks.
Bond will lead Dual’s offering in contingent liability insurance, providing tailored solutions that enable insureds to manage, allocate, and monetise legal risks. Before Dual, Bond served as the managing director, global director of underwriting for Delta Capital Partners.
Jafari will lead its tax liability insurance offering, providing bespoke tax liability insurance solutions, including issues relating to tax credit, mergers and acquisitions and corporate risk management. Jafari joins the team with 10 years of industry experience, most recently serving as the head of tax insurance, alternative solutions group for Everest Re.
Pelletier will lead Dual’s efforts in providing claims advisory services for all claims involving representations & warranties, tax liability, contingent liability and public D&O insurance. Pellettier will work closely with Dual’s insurer partners, insureds, brokers, and outside counsel to ensure effective and efficient claims resolution. Her background includes serving as a partner for Mendes & Mount, LLP, where she focused on representing international and domestic insurance and reinsurance company clients.
