EPUL boosts commercial property underwriting with ex-MS Amlin, Zurich hire

Commercial property MGA European Property Underwriting (EPUL), part of Global Risk Partners (GRP), has appointed Christopher Box to the role of senior underwriter for UK and European property owner risks.

Box joins EPUL with over a decade of experience in the insurance sector including senior real estate underwriter roles with MS Amlin and Zurich UK.

With this appointment, EPUL aims to further strengthen its offering, providing specialist insurance and advice for mid to large property owners, asset managers and pension funds in the UK and across Europe, via its network of distribution partners.

Ian Dopson, chief executive of EPUL, said: “EPUL have an established reputation within the UK and European property investor sector for technical excellence and first-class service. In searching for a new member of the team, we had no hesitation in appointing Chris, who brings with him a wealth of experience and underwriting expertise in our chosen markets, endorsed by his contacts in the broker community.”
