Equinox Global team expands internationally
Equinox Global, the Lloyd’s cover holder specialising in trade credit insurance, has announced Joe McNamara as vice president – Credit and Political Risk, at Equinox Global in New York and Dagmar Böhning as underwriting manager, at Equinox Global in Hamburg, Germany.
McNamara joins from Samsung Electronics where he was the director of Financial Services & Business Operations, with responsibility for managing Samsung North America’s credit policy and operations, as well as purchasing one of the largest trade credit insurance programmes in the United States. He is also chairman of the board of directors of the Federation of Credit and Finance Professionals. At Equinox McNamara will have a US and group wide role in the credit analysis area, as well as his role in supporting developing the US business specifically.
Böhning joins from Aon Credit International Insurance where she was a senior account manager, with responsibly for managing a portfolio of clients, both national and international, and developing tailor-made solutions across the credit insurance product range. Prior to this she held a number of senior positions in the credit insurance industry including at QBE International Insurance, Euler & Hermes International and ING Bank, in both the UK and Germany. Böhning brings experience of both credit analysis as well as policy underwriting, and she will have a significant role in the expansion of Equinox Global’s German business.
