ERS launches new claims unit
Motor insurer ERS is further enhancing its offering in the agriculture market with the launch of a new claims unit.
All agricultural claims for first and third party motor damage will be managed by a dedicated team of specialist handlers. Brokers will also benefit from comprehensive account management, encompassing full case ownership from first notification of loss and throughout the life cycle of the claim as well as direct contacts assigned on all cases.
The new team bolsters ERS’s existing capability and strong market position in agricultural motor which comprises specific schemes for fleet as well as horsebox cover and a rural car and van proposition.
Malcolm Cawsey, portfolio manager, agricultural underwriting at ERS, said: “Speed, efficiency and expert knowledge are especially important for agricultural claims where the disruption caused by an out of service vehicle can have a serious impact on farmers’ business.
“As one of the only purist insurers in this niche market we are proud to now offer our broker partners direct and undiluted access to this team of highly-trained individuals and look forward to working together to deliver a superior motor claims service in response to the very specific demands of this sector.”
