Euler Hermes appoints new group CFO as Schumacher moves to Allianz

Trade credit insurer Euler Hermes has appointed Loeiz Limon-Duparcmeur as new group chief financial officer (CFO) and member of the board of management, effective April 1.

He succeeds Chantal Schumacher who has decided to take a new role in Allianz SE.

Limon-Duparcmeur is currently the group head of risk underwriting. He joined Euler Hermes in 1995 as an investment manager for Euler SFAC, and held several senior controlling and finance positions in France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy and at Group level. In 2016, he took the role of country CEO for Euler Hermes Italy before joining the group back again in 2019 as group head of risk underwriting.

"I would like to thank Chantal for her support and commitment to the Group and to welcome Loeiz to the EH Board of Management," said said Wilfried Verstraete, chairman of the Euler Hermes board of management. I am confident that Loeiz with his in depth knowledge of our business and with his broad international experience will do a great job in his new role. This appointment demonstrates once again the depth and breadth of experience of our teams all around the globe."
