Everest hires European credit & political risk head from Aspen
Everest Re Group has recruited the head of Aspen Insurance’s credit and political risk business.
Paul Sanders has joined Everest Insurance in London as head of their European credit and political risk insurance business catering for European customers in conjunction with Everest Insurance's Ireland based underwriting platform.
Sanders joins Everest with over 20 years of experience in the London market as a broker, underwriter, and manager, most recently at Aspen Insurance.
Jim Thomas, head of credit and political risk at Everest Insurance, said: “The addition of a highly respected and experienced professional such as Paul furthers our mission of building a leading global credit and political risk business. Paul brings a wealth of technical underwriting expertise and proven success as a manager, and he will allow us to better serve the needs of our customers throughout Europe.”
