Everest unveils professional liability policy for design professionals

Everest Insurance has released a new professional liability policy that provides design professionals with professional, pollution and cyber liability coverage.

The policy, called Everest Elevation, was developed to address the unique coverage needs of architectural, design, engineering and construction firms, by offering a variety of coverage enhancements and expense reimbursements for crisis events, disciplinary proceedings, first party cyber security incidents, subpoena compliance and peer review programs.

“After listening to feedback from our brokers and insureds, Everest has built a best-in-class product that allows design professionals to feel secure in their practice while offering comprehensive protection in the event of a claim,” said Joshua Kranz, vice president, professional liability.

Everest provides coverage on both a primary and excess basis up to $15 million in limits for all architects and engineers inclusive of project specific coverage.
