Fusion taps Aviva duo to build ‘first’ tech-driven M&A MGA in London market

Fusion Specialty, a specialty insurance MGA focused on the small and medium-sized (SME) business market, has strengthened its new UK unit with senior hires from Aviva as it looks to cement its presence within the London market and towards continental Europe.

Oliver Berridge joins from Aviva, where as an M&A underwriter he built relationships with key broker partners. Prior to that he held the role of senior associate, M&A, at Ambridge Europe.

Yinan Guo also joins from Aviva where she developed particular expertise in SME, technology and real estate transactions.

Berridge joins Fusion Specialty UK as director accompanied by Guo who joins as associate. Arriving shortly after the launch of the UK division, both executives will report to Samuel Shirley, senior partner.
