Gallagher snaps up surety bond agency in North America

Global re/insurance broker  Arthur J Gallagher has acquired a Arizona-based surety bond agency for its North American retail property/casualty operations.

Phoenix, Arizona-based Viking Bond Service specialises in commercial, contract and fidelity bonds for clients across the US. The company was founded in 2002.

Tom Buckner, Bill Belpedio and the rest of Viking Bond team will operate under the direction of Kevin Garvin, head of Affinity North America for Gallagher's retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
