Gallagher strengthens US portfolio with two new acquisitions

Global re/insurance broker  Arthur J Gallagher has further expanded its presence in the US with two new acquisitions.

Gallagher has acquired Oregon-based Evergreen Insurance Managers and Denver, Colorado-based Denver Agency.

Founded in 2006, Evergreen is a wholesale insurance broker and managing general agency offering commercial insurance solutions for a wide variety of industries. The team serves clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. Dyan Bates, Nancy Schultz and their associates will remain in their current location under the direction of Kevin Doyle, VP-Western Region & Chicago for Risk Placement Services, Inc. (RPS).

Denver is a personal lines-focused insurance agency that specialises in serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients throughout the US. The agency also offers commercial property/casualty solutions for those clients. Eric Gordon, Chip McKeever, Katy Hyman Roth and their team will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of Jeff Saunders, head of Gallagher's US personal lines business, and Jay Eshelman, head of Gallagher Select, its US property/casualty operations for small businesses.
