Gallagher unveils reshuffle in Global Broking and Gallagher Re
Broker AJ Gallagher has unveiled a reshuffle that impacts two of its divisions. A new group head of strategic partnerships in its Global Broking unit has been unveiled as has a new head of global clients at Gallagher Re.
Nick Forti moves to take the reins as group head of strategic partnerships in Global Broking, a role vacated by former Willis Re CEO James Kent earlier this year.
Forti was previously head of global clients at Gallagher Re. That role will be filled by managing director William Thompson, who will also join the global executive committee.
Forti’s move comes some 18 months after he joined the broker from SCOR, where he was deputy chief underwriting officer, specialty insurance. He had also previously served as an active underwriter at The Channel Syndicate and as divisional underwriting director at Brit.
Thompson joined from Willis Re in 2021. He has also been heavily involved in the company’s Japanese operations including holding the role of non-executive director of Gallagher Re’s Japanese legal entity.
