Generali hires AXA exec into CEO role

Generali has appointed Antoine Parisi as Europ Assistance chief executive officer (CEO).

Parisi joins from AXA Group where he most recently held the position of CEO of AXA Assistance France. He joined AXA in 1992, where he later became the CEO of AXA Group Solutions. From 2009 he served as managing director of AXA P&C Retail in Belgium.

The Generali group head of global business lines, Paolo Vagnone, said: “I am pleased to welcome Antoine as the head of Europ Assistance. Thanks to his long international experience and his managing skills, I am sure that Antoine will contribute to further consolidate Europ Assistance’s position within the group and to strengthen the company’s leadership in the assistance sector at a global level”.
