Global broker Marsh taps UK cyber leader for US leadership role
Global insurance broker Marsh will pull a cyber insurance leader from the UK market to head up a full region of its US operations.
Sarah Stephens, Marsh's current head of cyber for the UK and international in Marsh Specialty will assume the role of US central zone leader effective May 1.
Stephens brings nearly 20 years of insurance and risk management experience to the role having joined Marsh from JLT in 2019 as cyber, media & technology leader within the UK financial and professional services (FINPRO) practice. She was named Head of Cyber, UK and International in 2020.
Before joining JLT in 2015, she had spent 12 years with rival Aon helping with large, complex US accounts, working her way up to head of cyber & commercial errors & omissions for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in 2014.
Marsh's president for the US and Canada, Pat Donnelly, commented: “Sarah is a highly experienced leader who excels in developing teams, services, and innovative solutions that benefit our clients and deliver growth. Under her leadership, our Central Zone will be well-placed to support clients in this rapidly-changing and often volatile risk landscape.”
