GRP hires NED to chair OpCo governance and audit committee

Global Risk Partners (GRP), an acquisitive insurance broking and managing general agency (MGA) investment vehicle, has appointed Jane Dale as non-executive director and chair of the governance and audit committee of the board of its operating company.

Dale's arrival follows digital leader Mark Hepsworth’s appointment as NED in December 2020.

Dale currently holds non-executive roles at life and pensions consolidator Chesnara, as chair of the risk and audit committee, and at Covea Insurance, where she also chairs the audit committee.

Previously, she was finance director at AIG Life between 2011-2015, and held senior roles at Shop Direct, Genworth Financial and Legal and General, where she was MD general insurance.

GRP OpCo board chairman Andy Homer said: “I am delighted to secure someone of Jane’s calibre for this important position within the Group. Her skill set and industry knowledge makes her a valuable addition to our highly experienced team of non-executive independent directors on GRP’s board.”
