Guy Carpenter attracts 17-year Swiss Re veteran for key Asia Pacific role
Global reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter, a business of Marsh McLennan, has tapped a senior Swiss Re executive to lead and grow its Asia Pacific capital advisory business.
Blake Dimitrijevic (pictured) joins the broker as head of capital advisory, Asia Pacific. He is based in Hong Kong SAR and reports to Tony Gallagher, CEO of Guy Carpenter Asia Pacific.
In his new role, Dimitrijevic will lead Guy Carpenter’s Asia Pacific Capital Advisory team, which serves clients with complex capital and funding needs across the region. The capital advisory team provides a range of client solutions and advisory services including regulatory and rating agency, asset and liability management, portfolio optimisation, and reinsurance to support M&A, as well as solutions to help improve clients’ capital fungibility and return on equity.
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Dimitrijevic was the head of property & casualty business management, Asia Pacific, at Swiss Re. During his 17-year career with the business, Dimitrijevic worked in numerous senior leadership roles in Asia and London across non-life, life and health, structured solutions, and group treasury functions.
