HDI Global Specialty taps delegated authority underwriter from Lloyd’s syndicate Starstone

HDI Global Specialty SE, a new specialty lines insurer created from merging the specialty lines activities of Hannover Re and HDI Global, has appointed Karen Frazer to its London-based US delegated authority underwriting team.

Frazer joins from Lloyd’s Syndicate Starstone with immediate effect, where she underwrote US open market and delegated authority business.

Prior to that, she was part of Torus Insurance’s power and utilities underwriting team.

Richard Taylor, a member of the executive board of management and UK managing director at HDI Global Specialty SE said: “I’m pleased to welcome Karen to the HDI Global Specialty SE underwriting team. She has proven herself to be a hard-working and results driven team player and I look forward to Karen playing her part in driving our specialty team forward.”
