HDI poaches AGCS exec to drive technical enhancements

HDI Global SE UK and Ireland (HDI) has hired a new director of operations as it looks to enhance its technical capabilities.

Arvind Drubhra joins HDI from Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS) in London where he spent the last 16 years working in various senior operations, transformation and technology roles, most recently looking after process oversight, productivity management and enterprise data quality. He has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.

In his new role Drubhra will lead HDI’s technical operations, claims operations, global servicing and IT and change teams. He takes up his new post on June 7, 2021, and will report to managing director Claire McDonald.

McDonald said: “This is an important time for HDI, as we renew our focus on improving processes, data quality and technical delivery to ensure we provide the best experience possible to our broker partners and clients.”

Drubhra said: “I hope that my experience and knowledge can help drive the evolution of HDI to achieve its future goals and look forward to working with the wider HDI Global community.”
