Howden’s Aston Lark unveils new UK hub in expansion spree

Insurance broker  Aston Lark, a Howden company, has further expanded its UK footprint with the launch of a new office in Reading, following openings of premises in Norwich and South Wales earlier this year.

It said the new Reading office aims to prove “more in-person support for valued clients”.

It will initially be staffed by a team of four, led by Alistair Matthews, “with opportunities for ambitious and experienced insurance professionals” in the area to join them in the coming months and years.

“It’s not only an important touch point for our current and future clients in the area, but further emphasises the breadth of opportunity here at Aston Lark and Howden”, said Matthews, regional director – Thames Valley, Farnborough and Alton.

Warren Dickson (pictured), CEO, Aston Lark UK, added: “One of the benefits of Aston Lark becoming part of Howden is the extent to which it’s enabled us to realise our growth ambitions, not only through acquisition, but also opening new offices in key regions across the UK.

“We’re really excited about the opportunities it brings for current employees, and new talent, to take their career where they want it to go. One of the reasons Howden and Aston Lark are such a good fit is our shared value of care – care for our clients, our employees, and the wider community.”
