IAT Insurance boosts inland marine unit hires from Travelers/The Hartford

IAT Insurance Group, a provider of specialty property casualty and surety products, has expanded its Inland Marine business unit with the addition of three new underwriters.

Amy Glovik, Greg Chesebro and Lori Aldinger are based in Iowa, New York and Texas, respectively.

Glovik comes to  IAT after 17 years with The Hartford, where she served in various roles, most recently executive marine underwriter. Glovik was responsible the flow and profitability of a $6 million book of business as well as training and mentoring new underwriters.

Chesebro has a deep background in commercial insurance underwriting and claims with 14 years of experience in the industry. Most recently he was with The Travelers Companies as account executive officer: Inland Marine.

Aldinger also comes to  IAT from Travelers, where she was most recently Inland Marine - senior technical account manager. She spent more than two decades at Travelers, handling underwriting, conducting policy audits, screening new business and developing relationships with agents and insureds.
