Insurtech Send, Sollers partner to boost insurers’ digital underwriting

UK-based insurtech  Send Technology Solutions has formed a new partnership with Sollers Consulting to deliver its underwriting platform to commercial and specialty insurers.

Through the partnership, the two companies aim to better support commercial and specialty insurers in their digital transformation. Send said they are currently working on integrations for a number of high-profile customers.

Send Underwriting Workbench is an API-enabled underwriting platform for agile insurers. The platform is a one-stop desktop for commercial underwriters with data, documentation and decision points all in one place.

The partnership will enable Send and Sollers to augment their professional service capabilities and to deliver Send’s Underwriting Workbench to more number of insurers.

Send co-founder and CEO Andy Moss, said: “Sollers has a strong reputation for delivering meaningful change in the insurance market, and like Send, is committed to transforming commercial underwriting. This partnership demonstrates our ability to deliver professional services at scale as we continue to make our mark on the pre-bind market.”

Jakub Wróblewski, London Market practice lead at Sollers Consulting, added: “Send’s Underwriting Workbench is a powerful solution for commercial insurers and comes at a time when insurers are looking to streamline and digitise their underwriting operations. The combination of an AI-enriched underwriting workbench and our delivery approach means carriers can rapidly transform their underwriting function.”
