Integro acquires boutique broker
Insurance broker Integro has acquired boutique insurance broker Lemme Insurance Group.
Formed in 1998 by Mario Lemme, who previously spent the majority of his insurance career with Minet, Lemme provides specialty insurance brokerage services to US and Canadian accounting, consulting and law firms.
Lemme’s team of professionals will lead Integro’s national practice for professional services firms and will continue to serve clients from their suburban Chicago office.
William Goldstein, Integro president, said: “We have known Mario, Sam Rudman, John Hecht and Jay Moroney for a number of years and have had the benefit of working with their firm to deliver value added solutions to their impressive list of clients.
“Lemme also shares our client-first values, is an outstanding addition to Integro and exemplifies our specialist firm growth strategy while strengthening our presence in the professional services firm marketplace.”
Mario Lemme added: “Integro has served as our London and Canadian broker and its market relationships are excellent. Integro has exceeded our hopes for a business partner given its ranking among the top 25 property and casualty brokers in the world.
“In today’s challenging business environment, global scale and depth of expertise are vitally important in order to continue to serve growing clients and provide the level of service they are accustomed to receiving from Lemme. I am also confident we will create a terrific national platform that will benefit our clients and the underwriting community while providing our colleagues with tremendous career opportunities.”
