Internal models increase transparency of risk profiles: Insurance Europe

The use of internal models for calculating the regulatory solvency capital requirement ensures sound risk management and increases the transparency of re/insurers’ risk profiles, according to a new report by the Reinsurance Advisory Board (RAB) of Insurance Europe, the European insurance and reinsurance federation.
