Ironshore Europe announces London appointments

Ironshore Europe has made several key executive appointments in its London office.

Peter Coleman, who has headed up Bermuda property since the company’s inception in 2007, has been invited to join the board of Ironshore Europe, as the international divisional director of Ironshore property. Coleman will also be responsible for oversight of the respective business lines in the European and Bermuda offices.

Other appointments include John Newton, who has been appointed branch manager of Ironshore Europe’s London office. In addition to overseeing branch office activity, Newton will also continue to be responsible for product innovation initiatives across all companies within the Ironshore International Group.

Additionally, Mark Hill has been named the deputy branch manager of Ironshore Europe’s London office, reporting to John Newton. Hill will continue to oversee the underwriting of Ironshore Europe’s specialty casualty book of business.
