ISC Switzerland appoints new chair

ISC Group, a global business community for women in insurance, has appointed Jutta Kath as new chairman of ISC Switzerland.

Kath will take the position after supporting the ISC Group since 2016 and will help drive the agenda and development for ISC in Switzerland.

The group's aim is to support the retention, attraction and promotion of women in the insurance industry to aid culture change in leadership and improve business results for all.

Kath has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry having held non-executive director and board roles.

Barbara Schonhofer, founder and chair at ISC Group, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jutta as Chair of ISC Switzerland. Jutta has shown a strong interest in the ISC Group from when we first met in London a few years ago and has since been an avid supporter. I have always been touched and enriched by the commitment and support of all our ISC Members in the Swiss market. I am especially delighted to make this announcement today as we enhance our cross-border and collegial community further.”

Kath commented: “Other women and I became more closely connected to ISC Group over the last six months, with its swift transition to online and broadcasting offerings. This enabled ISC Group to open their memberships to a wider audience, which myself and other women in the industry have benefitted from. I am honoured to be appointed the Swiss Chair and intend to work with our Swiss ambassadors to broaden the membership base and make the voice of ISC Group heard in Switzerland.”
