JLT Re eyes expansion with Aon Benfield hire to lead western US

Reinsurance broker and consultant JLT Re has hired Andrew Ferrier to strengthen its presence in the Western United States.

For the past 18 years, Ferrier was a senior broker at Aon Benfield in San Francisco.

Joining JLT Re as executive vice president, Ferrier will be tasked to lead the Western region with a focus on global, regional, and MGA business. He will be based in the company's San Francisco office.
