JLT Re hires SVP for property treaty from Odyssey Re

JLT Re has appointed Alain Bizet as senior vice president (SVP) in Miami to join the broker’s property treaty team.

Bizet will focus on the broking efforts for the Caribbean, Central America and broader Latin America Region. He joins JLT Re from the Odyssey Reinsurance Company where he was an assistant vice president and senior underwriter. Prior to Odyssey, he worked at Allied World as assistant vice president and senior underwriter focusing on delivering reinsurance solutions to clients.

JLT Re North America CEO Ed Hochberg, said: “We are pleased to welcome Alain to JLT Re. His strong underwriting knowledge and overall industry experience will be a great addition to our team.”
