JLT Specialty hires Marsh US energy & power practice leader

JLT Specialty, a US subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, has appointed Rob Hausler as executive vice president, based in Houston.

Hausler joins JLT from Marsh, where he served as US energy & power practice leader. He specialises in the midstream and downstream energy sectors.

Jim Pierce, deputy co-chair, global specialty and head of energy, power & mining at JLT Specialty, said: “We are ecstatic that Rob is joining our team. I have known and worked with Rob for years. He stands for everything we do. He is a client first professional. His joining us adds additional depth and bench strength to our US specialty operations, which will benefit our clients.”
