JLT Specialty’s Sarah Stephens on disruptors in re/insurance

The big innovations are not going to come from today’s giants in the re/insurance industry, believes Sarah Stephens, head of cyber at JLT Specialty. Instead, Stephens says, startups will develop technology and knowledge that will disrupt the traditional carriers’ business concepts.

Intelligent Insurer spoke to Stephens at the Intelligent InsurTECH Europe conference about her views on the current use of technology in the re/insurance sector and her expectations of how innovation is likely to change the operating environment.
