JLT Specialty US hires senior vice president from Aon

JLT Specialty USA, a subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, has appointed Mark Purdy as senior vice president to enhance its analytics and consulting practice.

Purdy joins JLT from Aon where he spent 14 years as an assistant director and consulting lead in Houston. He began his career as a claim team manager for Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he managed a group of commercial auto and GL adjusters.

In his new role, Purdy will be based in Houston, where his primary focus will be to help JLT’s clients improve their overall claims platform while increasing productivity and reducing costs related to workers’ compensation, auto and general liability exposures. He will play a pivotal role in offering insights and employing post loss strategies developed to achieve optimum financial results.
