Liberty GTS snags Alliant tax liability guru to lead in the Americas
Liberty Global Transaction Solutions (GTS), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance, has tapped rival Alliant Insurance Services for talent to strengthen and build out their tax liability insurance practice across the Americas.
Harry Ballan (pictured) has been appointed as head of tax and will be responsible for underwriting insurance solutions covering corporate tax risks in the Americas.
Prior to joining Liberty GTS, Ballan was managing director for Alliant Insurance Services where he structured insurance solutions for tax, M&A and contingent litigation risks for businesses globally. He had previously served as partner and senior counsel at Davis Polk & Wardwell.
