Liberty Mutual Re eyes Asia reinsurance expansion with senior hire
Liberty Mutual Reinsurance (LM Re), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has hired a treaty underwriter from China Re to expand the company’s reinsurance portfolio in Asia Pacific.
Alex Koh (pictured) has joined LM Re as senior underwriter. Based in Singapore, he reports to Annie Leong, regional underwriting manager.
Koh’s responsibilities include maintaining and expanding the company’s existing reinsurance portfolio in the region.
Before joining Liberty Mutual Re, Koh worked as a treaty manager for China Reinsurance Corporation (Group) in its Singapore branch, with responsibility for underwriting treaty business from South Asia and South Korea.
