Lloyd’s approves Waypoint as A&H coverholder for ArgoGlobal

Waypoint Underwriting Management, has obtained coverholder approval to underwrite Accident and Health (A&H) products on behalf of ArgoGlobal Syndicate 1200 at Lloyd’s.

Waypoint is a specialty managing general underwriter that offers insurance and reinsurance solutions to clients in the US.

For ArgoGlobal, which specialises in writing worldwide A&H, as well as property, marine, energy, specialty and non-US liability insurance, the move represents an expansion of the company’s footprint in North America.

ArgoGlobal A&H Class underwriter Adam Zawia said: “We are excited to work with Waypoint to expand ArgoGlobal’s access to A&H expertise in the US Waypoint has a proven track record in delivering profitable business, and the underwriter will complement Argo’s high-quality team in London.”
